Shirl's Blanket Repair And Washing

 Welcome to Shirl's Blanket Repair and Gifts. I have been an active horsewoman and cattle rancher for over 50 years. I currently enjoy breeding, raising and showing champion cutting horses but have been involved in all aspects of the horseworld, from showing all around horses, to competitive trail riding, to everyday ranch work.

I wash and repair all types and brands of horse-ware, including cotton or nylon sheets, fly sheets, medium, heavy, and water-proof blankets, sleazys, and hoods. I understand how a blanket/hood needs to fit in order to remain functional and comfortable for your horse and therefore take great care in repairing any rips/tears however major or minor to restore your horse-ware as best as possible.  If your blankets, hoods, etc. are simply in need of a good cleaning from everday use or winter mud, I use professional grade equipment to provide a high quality, thorough washing.  I take extreme care and pride in my work and strive to provide all customers with the best of quality in workmanship and service.

In addition to my wash/repair service, I also have several varieties of gifts for sale, including gorgeous hand made horse hair pottery. These exquisite pieces of art are hand crafted by a well known local artist, Lorelee Love, and examples of her artwork and available products can be seen on this site. Also, as the wife of an avid deer hunter, I make custom deer, elk, and bear bags for hunters. I grew tired of my husband complaining of the average bag being too small, and too flimsy, and decided I could do better. I make all of my game bags from a durable, denser polyester blend material that will last use after use, and not need to be thrown away after the first hunt. I also make it to fit a larger animal, making it easier to manage and use, and will custom size it to your needs if not already in stock.
